For learning mindfulness in particular, it can be extremely helpful to allow ourselves time away from the busyness of everyday life to grow and deepen our practice and application skills.
Our weekend retreats offer those, who have completed a mindfulness programme, or are a regular meditator, the opportunity to extend and develop their practice. Retreats are usually held at the beautiful Fintry in Surrey.
Retreats of this nature offer a chance to deliberately step away from our lives, and the usual running around and getting things done, in favour of paying attention from one moment to the next. Our retreats are very simple, but often offer insights and perspectives that are extremely fruitful when we return to our everyday life.
Our next retreat will be 8th-10th February 2019: Allowing Mindful Spaces for Creative Thinking.
Facilitated by Alison Armstrong (mindfulness facilitator) and Caroline Homfray, Coach and Teacher
We will offer you mindfulness practices combined with listening and thinking practices, to encourage reflection on current life experiences in a safe and non-judgemental environment. We will create space to consider what brings us nourishment in our lives, and how to find the courage to say no to things that drain you. At this early point in the year, this is an ideal time to reflect on what you need in the year ahead.
Dates/timing: arrival is recommended between 3.30-4pm on Friday 8th February, and we finish at 3pm on Sunday 10th February 2019

Transport: Driving/parking is straightforward. The nearest station is Witley (on the Waterloo-Portsmouth line), 2 miles away. we may be able to arrange transport from/to the station, or else please book a taxi beforehand. More regular trains stop at Godalming or Haslemere, and taxi’s are available form these stations
Price: for a single room, £240; to share a room, £210. These prices include all accommodation, food and teaching. Travel costs are not included.
